John P. Ford was the Human Resources Director for Terrebonne General Medical Center. The reason for my dislike of Mr. Ford is his unprofessional and rude attitude. In the beginning, it seemed that Mr. Ford completely ignored my complaints of how lower-class employees were treated. In my final conversation with Mr. Ford he was very evasive and would not directly answer my questions. He initially used the excuse of my search for another job as validity for terminating my employment. In addition, he made a smart comment of "...since you are looking for another job, we will help you along your way." If that was not unprofessional then I don't know what is.
I have read on the Internet about Mr. Ford's employment history and accomplishments. It seems that Mr. Ford is very knowledgeable of the subject of Human Resources. This assumption is based upon his Bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University (1984, Personnel Administration) as well as two certifications he holds (Senior Professional of Human Resources and Certified Health Care Safety Professional). One would think that someone with all of this education and experience (22+ years) would know how to "act" professional. I guess not.
It seems, though, that with all of Mr. Ford's education and experience, that he still feels that he does not have to treat people in a respectable manor. I can only feel sympathy for the personnel of Nicholls State University (NSU), its faculty and staff, as well as any students that may have to put up with Mr. Fords obtuse nature.More information can be found at ZoomInfo.
