Phyllis Peoples is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Terrebonne General Medical Center. Ms. Peoples joined the Terrebonne General staff as the CEO in 1995. She holds an undergraduate degree in Nursing, a Master's degree in Education & Administration. Currently, she is working on a doctorate degree. It seems that she lets all of her certifications, awards, and degrees go to her head. Does she think that because she has such a good public repertoire that it will help hide her malicious and callous underside?
In an article on the TGMC website, Mr. Michael Bergeron stated, "Time and again, Phyllis Peoples has shown her ability to inspire people and to build the kind of consensus for continued progress any hospital would be proud of. We are delighted that she has accepted our offer and that we can count on her to take the hospital to the next level of service to the community." I believe that Mr. Bergeron and many others in the community may feel this was about Ms. Peoples and Terrebonne General because they don't know the truth about Ms. Peoples or the organization. It seems that to the public, Ms. Peoples puts on an act of being a generous and caring person. However, underneath is one of a school bully that will do whatever is necessary to silence those that oppose her or Terrebonne General Medical Center.
